Feeling the back-to-school vibe yet? Even without kids, August means shifting gears around here. We loved optimizing the laundry and mudroom in our Oxford project with custom cabinetry, shelves, and fun tile floors. Enjoy the last bit of summer, friends! đź“·

We're mixing things up in this gorgeous vacation cottage... with patterns, that is. One of the joys of designing a vacation spot is experimenting with colors and patterns that our clients wouldn't dare try in their everyday spaces. And seeing two wallpapers from the living room work together... pure magic! Happy Friday, friends!

Coral, green, sky blue—I'm craving every color of the season, both indoors and outdoors. But my focus is torn... new cushions for my patio, new pillows for my couch. Sigh. Wishing you a lovely Sunday amidst the beauty of spring!

This chippy green table has my heart. 💚 Previously used as a kitchen work table, it makes a great nightstand in my clients’ guest room.

Happy Monday!

Winter whites in my clients’ kitchen with loads of function and charm—my favorite kind. Painted in Benjamin Moore’s Gray Owl, this space invites weekend culinary adventures and quick breakfasts before school.

The backsplash tile reminds my client of the pressed tin tile in her grandmother’s farmhouse. And the antique brass fixtures from Grahams Lighting complement the milk glass fixture hanging in their pantry—an antique fixture we repurposed from their first home together.

It’s Thanksgiving week, and there’s no better time to bust out the silver polish and make your dining room shine! Here’s some of our recent favorites. Each one is unique to our clients, but you’ll notice some commonalities.

We love to use antique chairs when we can for the charm, quality and sentimental value. Comfort is key, however, so we always prioritize finding seating that invites lingering at the table.

The right size chandelier, whether vintage or contemporary, brings the drama. And paired with sconces and lamps, these rooms have a warm glow.

Lastly, we didn’t shy away from incorporating color through art, fabrics, or wallpaper. Brown furniture and tall ceilings can stand up to bold hues.
