fyi….. inventory will be a little lean this weekend. we’re still catching up from the croft show and now with The Germantown Festival and cooper young fest right behind it, it’s a race to pour and cure. 😅

the fall preview is still going, but the full fall lineup and story officially launches september 12, both online and in person at germantown festival. that’s also where you can snag some wax melts since we know so many of you have been asking about them!

THE PROBLEM:

It’s the beginning of September, fall is supposedly right around the corner, and yet it’s 110° outside, like summer just got here instead of being on its way out.

THE FIX:

still reveling in afterglow of the most incredible weekend while simultaneously working recovery mode. 😅

The Croft Show took more than we planned in the best possible way, which means we’re heading into The Germantown Festival and restocking in real time after initially planning for both 🥴. the good news is that we will be just in time for a solid restock before (Sept 12–13) and our first time at Cooper Young Fest (Sept 19).

the Croft Show told us exactly what was loved and the fall preview was a hit! we cannot wait to share more on the collection story very soon.

In other words…if they loved it then you’re really going to lurrrvvvee it 😉

all that to say, a few things worth knowing before you shop

Prairie Passage: we’re wrapping up a mid-season restock and will have the full summer collection available at both events, but don’t sleep on it. The season is coming faster than any of us are ready for and summer won’t be around much longer.

🕯️ Glass Conservatory is no longer in production — if you see any of those scents at our upcoming events and you’ve been curious, snag them. remaining inventory only. once it’s gone it’s gone.

today is the last day to stop by the Croft Show and what an incredible weekend it has been!

we hope everyone stayed safe from the storms last night. on the bright side, we needed every drop of that rain. a few less branches and power lines would have been nice, but Mother Nature does what she does and doesn’t ask for permission I suppose 😬

two days left of the The Croft Show and some inventory has already sold out or is running low. Not to create panic 🥴 but it’s feeling like today is going to be the biggest day yet for all the vendors and we might not have anything left for tomorrow 😅

we had the most incredible evening previewing our fall collection for the very first time. the energy was everything we hoped it would be and more.

i never planned to venture away from a career I’d built over almost two decades as a professional photographer. that was my whole world as a visual artist.

but then, moving from Texas to Tennessee *right* in the middle of a new season of motherhood where our kids were older, more independent, and really coming into their own definitely got me thinking about exploring something outside of that. turns out spending the better part of a year and a half on a “pretend retirement” leaves room for said thinking, perhaps a little too much thinking.

i signed up for my first farmers market in 2024 and it’s been a wild, incredible ride ever since.

the thing is, I still love photography deeply. I just never thought anything else could fill that creative space the way it does. i also didn’t think there would ever be something that satisfied that same need to storytell, to create beauty, to make people feel something.

candle making proved me wrong.

on that note, off to get my t**h back to work! set up for The Croft Show starts in less than 24 hours (and I might have had a little bit of an ambitious build to finish before then) but who’s counting anyway 😅

we are officially a few days out from the Croft Show….

and I can’t believe we are going to have our own little piece of Round Top-esque charm right here near Memphis in Byhalia Mississippi. It’s been so fun watching all the plans in motion and it’s looking like this experience is going to be one for the books. ✨
