As parents and caregivers, we do everything we can to keep our homes safe. But did you know standard window cords can be a hidden hazard for young children?

This Window Covering Safety Month, we’re encouraging families to Go Cordless. Modern, cordless window coverings offer the ultimate blend of clean aesthetics, convenience, and—most importantly—peace of mind for households with kids and pets.

Always look for the Best for Kids™ certification when updating your shades or blinds!

Making Memories in Branson! 🎉

Our 2026 company trip to Branson, Missouri was one for the books! We had a great time getting away from the office and bringing our families along for a few days of fun, laughter, and quality time together.

From team-building games that brought out everyone’s competitive side 😄 to spending time with our families, there was no shortage of good times and great memories.

We wrapped up the trip with an unforgettable evening at Dolly Parton’s Stampede - a fitting way to celebrate the incredible legacy of entertainment and family fun that Dolly has given so many over the years. ❤️

It was a wonderful trip filled with laughter, connection, a little friendly competition, and plenty of memories to take home. Fun was definitely had by all!

Here’s to our team, our families, and the memories we make together! 🥳

🌸 Window Safety Week: Fresh Air, Safe Kids! 🌸

Spring is here, and open windows are tempting - but did you know falls from windows are a real safety risk for young children? 🪟 According to safety experts, children can be seriously injured if windows are open and unsupervised.

This week, families are encouraged to:

Keep windows locked or use window guards
Move furniture away from windows
Supervise children near open windows

At Lotus & Windoware, our cordless blinds are a safer choice for homes with little ones, helping reduce cord hazards while letting the sunshine in. ☀️
