Stopped by the Squam project last week and things were moving.

Appliances were being installed, painters were hustling, finishers were tightening up details, and exterior work was progressing.

One of those days on-site where every trade is moving at once and you can really feel the project coming together.

This home has had a lot of unique elements from the start, and seeing the level of craftsmanship and quality products come together in the final stages has been exciting to watch.

A lot of moving parts.
A lot of coordination.
And a team pushing hard to bring it across the finish line the right way.

You learn a lot about people by how they show up on a job site.

Consistency. Attention to detail. How they handle the small things when no one’s watching.

We’ve got a few trade partners on current projects who bring that every day.

It makes our job easier, and it makes the end result better for the homeowner.

That kind of reliability is hard to replace.

Memorial Day is a reminder to pause and remember those who served and sacrificed for this country.

We’re grateful for the freedoms we often take for granted and the people who made them possible.

There’s a point in every project where the decisions start to feel real.

Not overwhelming, just… real.

You’re no longer talking in ideas. You’re choosing what something is actually going to be.
That’s where we spend more time slowing things down, not speeding them up.

Because getting those moments right tends to make everything that follows a lot easier.

Right now, this project doesn’t look like much.

It’s easy to drive by and miss it completely. But this is the phase where things either get set up right… or don’t.

Layout, elevation, how everything ties into the land. The decisions being made here carry all the way through.

It’s not the part people get excited about, but it’s one of the parts that matters most.

But moments like this remind you why the process matters.

This project has been taking shape step by step, and even in the middle of it, you can start to feel what it’s going to become.
