The weather is warming up so it is time for me to come out of hibernation. My full time employer is allowing us to set up vendor tables at the employee appreciation event tomorrow. Here are a few new shirts I was able to make.

Join us for a Plarners and Yarners Workshop on February 15th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Epiphany House!

This wonderful group uses yarn and plarn, yarn made from recycled plastic bags, to create bedrolls, totes, hats, and scarves that go directly to those who need them most.

No special skills are required, just a kind heart and a desire to make a difference!

Last week our chapter president’s family experienced a devastating barn fire that resulted in the loss of their barn and animals. Our chapter is coming together with the Lyman Hall Agricultural Science ASTE teachers and staff to support their family as they begin the long process of healing and rebuilding. We are hosting a BINGO Fundraiser on March 19th and are looking for donations of gift cards, small products, or promotional items ($10-$20 value) to use as prizes. All the money raised the night of the event will go directly toward helping Fox Field Farm recover from this tragedy.

I want to thank everyone who shopped with me this past year. For now, this is just a hobby for me and a way to express my artistic side. I have ordered more supplies and have a few new ideas of things to make this coming year. It is a little too cold to do any glass work since I run my kiln outside so I may hibernate for a bit and recover from the holidays. Keep an eye on my page as I will be back soon.
