Happy Thursday! This week is flying by.

Our living room is all ready for cozy season, and my heart is happy! . The “Ber” months are finally here, and you know I’m ready for ALL the fall things!

Give me the rich fall colors, pretty leaves, pumpkins everywhere, cozy blankets, and a home that feels warm and welcoming. There’s just something about fall that makes me want to slow down, light a candle, curl up on the couch, and enjoy being home.

Let the cozy season begin!

Happy Wednesday! 🤗

We are under another heat advisory today so I need Mother Nature to realize that it’s September and I need cooler temps! 😆.

I don’t tutor on Wednesdays so it will be a relaxing day today! I’ll do a little bit of cleaning, I’m walking on my waking pad, and I started a cross-stitch piece. I always like to have a project going!

I added fabric to two of the kitchen cabinets this past weekend and I may add some to two cabinets by the laundry room and even possibly the bathroom! 😆

It’s September! The “Ber” months are my four favorite months of the year so bring on all the coziness.

I got this plate rack from Magnolia about a year ago and I have the best time styling it. When fall rolls around, I love pulling out my Mikasa “Whole Wheat” dishes that I’ve had for over 40 years!

Happy new week and last day of August! 🤗

I’m showing you the other side of my kitchen all dressed up for fall! 🍂 And….I did a thing! 😆

I pulled out my hot glue gun and added fabric to the recessed spaces of two of my Shaker cabinets, and I loooove how they turned out! It’s such a simple little change, but I think it adds so much charm, character, and personality to the kitchen.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest difference! ❣️

I can’t believe September arrives tomorrow! Bring on my favorite months and time of year!

I finished up all my fall decorating yesterday. Whew! It was fun, though, because fall is my favorite season! I’m hoping all my fall decorations will entice the temperatures to drop into the 70s!! 😆

Happy Saturday! 🤗

I will be piddlin today! I’ll clean and work in the yard. I finished my fall decorating and it feels great to be done with that. I can just sit back and enjoy it now!

We love football so I’m sure that will be on our tv all day. I’m so glad football season has begun! 🤎🏈

I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. It’s hot here today but pretty! Less humidity today so I’ll rejoice and be glad in it! I’m so happy you’re here.

Yay for Friday….the last Friday in August!

I’m showing this side of the kitchen all decked out for fall. I love adding garland filled with pumpkins, leaves, and flowers above the windows—it’s such a fun way to bring a little extra fall color into the kitchen. And I’m pretty sure I’ve used just about every fall color there is, and I love it! 🤎🧡💛🍂🍁

It was actually a little cooler here today after it rained all morning, and I was so happy to see the rain! There’s just something about a rainy day that makes me ready for cozy days and cooler temperatures.

I can feel those cooler temps coming…or at least I’m hoping they are! I’ll be happy as long as those extreme heat advisories stay away! 😄

Have the best Friday, sweet friends. My granddaughters cheer tonight in the first football game of the season. I can’t wait to watch the pep rally this morning and the game tonight! 🏈📣

I’ve been busy working on fall decor inside the house, but today I’ll be working on decorating the porch and the front of the house for fall! These are such fun spaces for me style. We spend so much time out here!

Happy Wednesday! 🤗

The weather has been cooler the past couple of days and I know fall is right around the corner!

I’m going to lunch with my besties today. We’ve been best friends for over 35 years. We all taught Kindergarten together and that bonded us for life! Now we’re retired, and have fun hanging out together. I’m excited to see them and catch up. Nothing like a little lunch and a glass of wine! 😆

I hope you all have a wonderful Hump Day. I’ve been decorating like a mad woman. I might start on the porch today but I probably won’t finish!

I’ve gotten the bins out of the shed and have very slowly started decorating for fall. For some reason, I always like to begin with the shelf behind our couch.

I haven’t bought anything new this year— Lord knows I already have plenty of stuff—but I never decorate things exactly the same way I did the year before. I love changing things up and seeing how I can use what I already have in a different way. That’s part of the fun of decorating for me!

The pumpkin-scented candles are lit, the house is filled with that cozy fall smell, and I’m loving it!
