LEARN HOW TO SEW OR IMPROVE YOUR SEWING SKILLS
We teach sewing lessons around the bay area. You can pick any class, as they are on going and not specific to beginners only. Sign up for a lesson at the store you wish to take it at. Pick up or print your supply list, pick up your materials and have them ready at the beginning of your class. Hope to see you soon!
CLASSES OFFERED
Sew Simple and Open Sewing Classes are taught at the same time by Ruslana. You will learn and have fun creating with a sewing machine. Ages 8 to 100+, machine rental available ($5/class). Many locations and timings to fit your schedules, sign up today at the location of your choice.
SEW SIMPLE: You will learn basic sewing skills, machine operation, sewing terms, how to sew a straight seam, how to read pattern instructions, simple trouble shooting on the sewing machine and needle knowledge. This class is sew simple but it is packed with so much more!! Each student works at their own pace and on their own project. Projects options are as follows: lap quilt, 15 square patchwork quilt, simple pants/shorts, pillowcase, drawstring tote bag or reversible apron. You will need approximately 3 hours to learn the basic and 3 hours to finish your project, note EACH simple project you will need 3 hours of time to complete. Please bring your supply's and materials to all classes. .
OPEN SEWING: Prerequisite is knowledge of basic sewing machine skills. Here you can start a new project, finish one or learn put in a hem, zipper, or button hole. This is also a great place to just come work on a project that you need a bit of help on to keep your frustration level low. Ruslana can help you to become a more confident sewer and answer most any question you have.
