The word of the day in our kitchen is...BACON!!!

Started the afternoon with a Bloody Mary topped off with limes, lemon, celery, blue cheese stuffed olives and some quick candied bacon. I dusted bacon with brown sugar and fresh cracked black pepper, baked for 15 minutes at 375 degrees then rotated the pan and cooked another 10 minutes. Drizzled the bacon with pure maple syrup and let cool. It would have been better with thick cut bacon, but I need that for tonight's dinner. 😉 Stay tuned.
