Can you believe it’s September already? How did that happen?!
We have so many things going on at the store, they almost don’t fit on the website calendar.
We have some of our regularly offered classes such as Cricut, Learn your Sewing Machine, Alcohol Marker Color Along, American Mahjong Made Easy, Junk Journals, Amigurumi, Learn to Crochet, Learn to Knit, and Monthly Card Club.
In addition, we have some new offerings to check out: Tunisian Crochet, Catch All Cutie, Mug Insert, Rag Wreath, English Paper Piecing Introduction, Reading Pillow, Underground Railroad Quilt Block of the Month, Shelf Sitters, and Soldier Cookie Canisters.
We have 1 more Sell Your Stash event in 2026 and it’s going to be bigger than ever! Papercrafters and other craft supplies will be featured at our current store. Fabric and yarn supplies will be featured at our new store at the same time. You can visit both locations on Oct 4 and find GREAT DEALS! Currently there are a few vendor spaces for the fabric and yarn event, but the paper crafters space is sold out. You are welcome to add your name to the waitlist using the website calendar – click on the event to access the waitlist.
Speaking of the new location, here’s an update. The construction is done. Floors and painting are done. The mural is done. The door additions are done. The air conditioners have been serviced and are all working. We will offer a few small events at the new location and will plan to move in fully during the Christmas break in December. January 5, 2027 is the first official full day in the new location. In the meantime, drive by and peek in the windows! 7102 E Baseline Rd at the corner of Superstition Rd and Baseline. We are between the Water and Ice store and Fuzzy Paws Pet Salon in suites 103 & 104. If you want to rent the new space for a private event between now and Christmas, call the store ad talk to Mindy to reserve it!
And finally, don’t forget about our monthly events: Junk Journal Meetup, Card Club, Embroidery Babes, and our weekend retreats. If you can’t say for all 3 days of a retreat, you can register for just 1 or 2 days on the calendar instead.
Somedays, the store is pretty busy. If you are a member, please be sure to reserve your table for the days you plan to be at the store so we know how many people to expect each day.
