Well, it’s officially been years since I’ve had professional headshots taken. One of the things I love most about choosing flowers as a career is that I usually get to hide behind their beauty. I’ve always been more of a behind the scenes girl… but today, I’m not going to be!

Hi, I’m Dana, owner and lead designer of The Floral Theory!

The Floral Theory was created 11 years ago. How wild is that? Time is absolutely flying by, and we are still loving every minute of flowering some of the most important days of your lives.

We pride ourselves on creating a smooth experience from the very first email to the wedding day itself. We pour our hearts into every design and feel incredibly blessed to be a part of such meaningful moments.

From the day my bestie and I dreamed up a business name and started an Instagram account, to leaving my stable day job with benefits I’ll probably never see again (lol), through COVID, opening and closing a storefront, and all the craziness that life has thrown our way, we’re still here, still creating, and still loving what we do.

Thank you doesn’t begin to express the gratitude we have for every couple who has trusted us, every vendor who has worked alongside us, every client who has referred us, and every person who has supported us over these past 11 years.

I also want to take a moment to thank my incredible team. Their hard work, dedication, creativity, and passion are what make The Floral Theory what it is today. I truly couldn’t do this without them, and I am so grateful for everything they do behind the scenes to bring our clients’ visions to life.

We love you all and cannot wait for all the beautiful celebrations still to come.

A tropical-inspired wedding at Hotel Valley Ho, where the colorful mid-century architecture and lush landscapes set the tone for the entire day.

This was one of those wedding days that just felt effortless from start to finish. The venue already has so much personality and character that every part of the day flowed naturally. Between the vibrant colors, palm trees, and beautifully designed spaces, there was a perfect backdrop around every corner.

It’s always a good reminder that when you choose a venue that truly fits your style and vision, everything feels a little more cohesive, a little less stressful, and a lot more like you!
