Designed with versatility in mind, Speedball has now introduced a new line of ceramics glazes: STUDIO PLUS

Featuring 18 core colors that fire true to color from cone 06 to 6 with 6 additional mottling colors that mimic Speedball Mid-Fire at low-fire temperatures. A studio addition meant to provide artists with more intriguing option from low-fire to mid-fire temperatures.

Apply 1 coat for translucency or 2-3 coats to achieve a glossy, opaque finish. The Speedball Studio Plus line offers consistent results that are easily achieved no matter the skill level. Lead free and certified dinnerware safe. Now available in a convenient 2 oz size.

The new Gamblin 1980 colors are colors that can be recognized from their Artist Grade counterparts and by the decade of the 1980s.

Rather the replicating the colors of the Artist Grade line, Gamblin chose to offer a different shade for the colors. By reducing the concentration of one of the pigments, these new formulations are a paler and gentler interpretation.

The 1980s were so loud that today we still hear its echoes in contemporary art, music, and popular culture. The new fluorescents offer maximum pigment load; Hot Pink and Hot Violet contain Art Grade levels of pigment concentration.
