Excited to share our first look at the Main House of Nevaeh Villa, a Caribbean project we’ve been fortunate to be part of, on our beloved island of Anguilla.

This space was designed to embrace the island’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle, allowing the surrounding landscape to become part of the room itself.

Hand-carved chairs anchor the seating area, while layered textures and indoor-outdoor fabrics were chosen for both comfort and durability. A woven indoor-outdoor rug adds softness underfoot while standing up beautifully to the relaxed rhythm of villa and beach life.

Blues and rich natural tones echo the colors of the Caribbean and complement the landscape beyond. Pops of greenery and vibrant florals bring life to the room while maintaining a calm, relaxed atmosphere.

This is where many guests gather to unwind and spend time with family and friends.

For those who are new here - Hi! I’m Alexis 🤍 Founder + Creative Director of Alexis Parent Interiors.

Anguilla has become a second home to me and the heart of some of my most meaningful work. We recently completed our seventh project on island, the extraordinary Nevaeh Villa. A magical, sprawling, soulful, and deeply rewarding undertaking.

My design journey began early… sketching floor plans at 6 years old and landing my first assistant design position at 16 (the same week I got my driver’s license). Design has always lived in my bones.

My grandparents were modern art collectors, & I watched my Mother render our childhood home in my earliest memories. My parents eventually created a construction company in Westport, CT in the ’80s. A side business & partnership through and through. My father’s Cuban roots shaped my love for warmth, color, mood, and vibe. Creating beautiful spaces feels like carrying forward a family legacy.

I’ve been in the industry for 27 years, leading my own firm for the past 13. Today, API is a boutique luxury studio serving clients from Miami Beach to New York, Connecticut, Hamptons, Paris, Naples, and of course the Caribbean.

A cornerstone of my practice is providing true concierge-level service for high-net-worth families. Rooted in grace, discretion, love, and patience. Every home we design is deeply personal, and treated with the level of care it deserves.

I draw endless inspiration from nature, artwork, travel, balance, color, necessity and from the challenges that push creativity to new places.

Our work has been honored with multiple design awards, featured in dozens of publications, even live TV, but the greatest privilege is building a studio grounded in gratitude, connection, and the belief that elevated design transforms the way we live.

Some drama for the Dining Room! One of our specialties & favorite spaces to treat in a client’s home! 🖤

We restored this marble fireplace and darkened the Brazilian hardwood floors. Applied black lacquer to the dated cream cabinetry, and of course treated the “fifth wall,” the ceiling!

Incredible black leather fringe mirror from & American made hand blown chandelier by are the icing on this yummy cake. Color-blocked draperies hand-sewn & always perfect, thanks to our forever teammate
