Miami has no shortage of iconic towers, but One Thousand Museum stands apart.

Designed by Zaha Hadid, the building transformed engineering into architecture, using its sculptural concrete exoskeleton as both structure and identity. Rather than concealing how the building works, it celebrates it.

From my perspective as an interior designer, that’s what makes this project extraordinary. The architecture doesn’t simply frame the interiors; it defines the way light enters, how spaces flow, and ultimately how people experience the home.

The most memorable buildings are never just landmarks. They change the way we think about design.

Art Nouveau and Art Deco are often confused, but they tell two very different stories.

Art Nouveau looks to nature for inspiration, celebrating fluid lines, botanical forms, and handcrafted artistry. Art Deco reflects a different moment in history, embracing geometry, symmetry, luxurious materials, and the optimism of a rapidly modernizing world.

As an interior designer, I find both movements equally compelling. They remind us that great design is always shaped by the culture, technology, and aspirations of its time.

Understanding their differences is more than recognizing a style. It’s understanding the story behind it.
