Lighting is radical. So is Nico Corona (Nico Corona).

Sculptor and jewelry artist. Self-taught. His metal work is part art, part archaeology.

“Life’s too short for a conventional form of existence.”

In Serge’s (S E R G E G A Y J R. 🎨) home, exactly one thing is not up for discussion:

“A painting that’s been in my family, that I absolutely love and cherish. Not moving from that wall.”

Lighting is alive. So is Serge Gay Jr. (S E R G E G A Y J R. 🎨).

Born in Port-au-Prince. Painter, designer, art director. Those canvases are his, and so are 20+ murals around San Francisco. You’ve probably walked past one.

“Life is too short to be stuck in your ways, change it up.”

What’s the most alive thing in your home? Try thinking outside the box (plants don’t count!).

House rules at Alma’s (Alma Lopez): no story, no entry.

“I’d rather live with something imperfect that reminds me of a person, a place, or a memory than something ‘important’ that means nothing to me.”

Name the imperfect thing in your home with the best story.

Lighting is proud. So is Alma Jiménez López (Alma Lopez).

First-gen Mexican American. Artist, designer, creative director. Those textiles? Hers. She also co-founded OF THREADS to put Mexican American artists and designers in the spotlight.

“I want to see myself and my community reflected in the things I live with.”
