Every project has a few moments that stay with me long after it’s finished.

Not because they’re the biggest statement, but because they’re the spaces that quietly tell the story of the home.

From a reading corner designed for slowing down, to a fireplace that completely transformed the space, every decision was made with intention; layer by layer, detail by detail.

This has become one of my favorite projects, not because of any single feature, but because of how beautifully everything works together.

Things I did and loved today.

- An early meeting with a millworker.
- A project site visit with a client.
- And later, seeing one of my daughters continue to grow in her craft as a violinist.

Watching ideas move one step closer to reality. Very different moments, yet they all had one thing in common: progress.

Some days are filled with deadlines, decisions, and a fair amount of chaos. But days like today remind me that growth rarely happens all at once—it happens one meeting, one detail, one practice session at a time.

And somehow, that’s what makes it all so rewarding.

The truth is, great renovations rarely follow a straight line.

What looks like chaos is often progress.
What feels like a setback is often part of the solution.

Today we visited one of the most important Renaissance palaces in , Museo Di Palazzo Grimani. This hidden gem for lovers of architecture, frescoes, and decorative arts is an inspiring reminder of how ornamentation and spatial design can evoke emotion, wonder, and permanence.

The interiors are especially known for their richly ornamented ceilings, illusionistic frescoes, stucco work, and classical references inspired by ancient Roman domus. The Palazzo is a great example of early museum-style display culture.

The soft vegetal frescoes, muted mineral pigments, faded greens, terracotta undertones, and gilded detailing are incredibly aligned with the layered, textural elegance I gravitate toward in interiors today.

After months of deep studying, drafting floor plans, and truly diving into the details of what it means to design kitchens and bathrooms with intention and expertise, I’m proud to share that I am now officially a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD) through the renowned (National Kitchen & Bath Association).

I don’t take this achievement lightly. This certification represents years of learning, discipline, professional growth, and an ongoing commitment to my craft.

For those who may not know, I also graduated as an Interior Designer and Decorator from SJSID in Puerto Rico. Each milestone along this journey (along with many others not listed here) has helped shape the way I approach design today: with greater knowledge, deeper understanding, and even more purpose.

I’m incredibly passionate about this profession and committed to continuing to learn, evolve, and refine my expertise across the many trades and disciplines that influence the spaces we create.

The more I learn, the more intentional I become, not only in the technical side of design, but in understanding how people live, move through their homes, gather, recharge, and experience their everyday spaces.
