Today is the first day in my new studio. I didn't feel I could start until the rest of the house was unpacked and settled. (Still some decor of walls to be completed but taking my time to decide where I am going to put nails in the wall.) I am anxious to get on the wheel but these sheep are tired of waiting. 🐑💕

A little life + pottery update ❤

This year I’ll be stepping away from Kleather’s Pumpkin Patch. Between moving, settling into a new studio, and listening to my doctor about slowing things down, it feels like the right season to take a pause.

I’m so incredibly thankful for my dear friend Emma (our pumpkin lady), who took a chance on my pottery several years ago. That opportunity has meant more than I can say. We’re keeping the door open. ❤ I’m still creating - just in a different rhythm. I plan to continue offering small pottery drops and hope to have some fall and Christmas pieces later this year. I will only be doing the online drops for now, no open houses. Thank you for your understanding.

First on the list: finishing the sheep and flower mugs that got interrupted by our big move.

Studio update! It’s coming along little by little, and I’m so thankful to finally be settling into this new space. I’ve really downsized with this move, but it already feels full of possibility. I’m looking forward to getting my hands back in clay again very soon.

And for now, I’m just enjoying how clean it still is - let’s see how long that lasts. 😊

This will be my new studio! ✨

Today the floor is getting a total revamp, and I’m getting so excited. By Monday I’ll be able to start moving everything in and setting up a fresh workspace for the next season of making.

There are so many small things I’m looking forward to:
* not running down the hill to use the bathroom
* not hauling water back and forth * working in natural light with a view 🌿
* and maybe (just maybe!) keeping things a little less messy

I’ve had to downsize quite a bit to make this move happen. It’s really pushed me to focus on what I most enjoy creating and to simplify my tools and supplies in a way that feels right for this next chapter.

This space is going to shape what comes next - and I can’t wait to start making here and share it with you.
