This quilt is so special to me because it was truly made out of love.❤️ When DJ passed away, my friends at The Tilted Quilters each made a block in his honor. These ladies (among others) helped me get through one of the worst times of my life. Lifting me up and helping me get back to quilting, which is great therapy for me.

My friend, Lindsey Brown, did the final embroidery work and a the retreat this week I finally finished the top. Now it’s ready for the longarm. In honor of my son & first born, DJ Comer. ❤️❤️❤️
