As a Bluegrass State native, I attended the University of Kentucky, graduating with a BA in Interior Design in 1987. My first professional decade consisted of designing commercial restaurants, working with an architectural firm, and office planning for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As the mother of two boys, my creativity continued to manifest during those parenting years, whether in the form of t
eaching my sons, planning a dinner party, or remodeling and decorating three of our homes. When I shifted back into the workforce, people were still one of my main focuses. Working as a manager with a caregiving agency became instrumental in developing my organizational skills, along with deepening my compassion for our community. Though my relationships with the elderly adults, their family, and their caregivers multiplied during this professional season, I found little time for my visionary passion: designing. So, meet Fleur de Bleu Creations, LLC that allows me to follow my passion and help others create a functional, stylish, and enjoyable space. ∼ Michelle Rudzik
