Thank you for being a valued part of the Smith Corner Acres three year journey. What started out as just an “idea” turned into something a lot bigger than I imagined. I’m incredibly grateful for the support and loyalty you have shown the little stand on the corner over the past three years.
It is with a heavy heart that I’m writing to inform you that I’ve made the difficult decision to not open for 2026 season with our planned opening date of Saturday, June 6th.
Unfortunately, I’m a one man operation and take a lot of pride in making sure the stand was fully stocked with some of the BEST produce in town and offered some of the lowest prices in town too! I took on a new job in October of 2025 and logistically I’m unable to make the daily trips needed to keep the stand stocked at all times. I was making trips 6-7 days a week and a lot of the local pick up times for local corn 🌽 , watermelons 🍉 cantaloupes 🍈 and our delicious tomatoes 🍅 are during my work hours.
I understand this is disappointing news. I’ve always took pride in trying to make everyone happy, but there comes a time that you have to put yourself first.
