6 years ago today, I started renting the garage.

I needed a place for a woodshop. My dad and I shared the space — he was a handyman, I was figuring out cabinets.

Eight months later I opened The Craft Lab with friends. Four months after that, they were gone. One month later, on the day after Thanksgiving 2021, the first Paint Playground experience happened.

I didn’t know it then, but the third business in that building would be the one that stuck.

Life is funny like that. You start one thing because you need the space to pay for itself, and it turns into something completely different.

Six years in this building. Next month the business that stuck turns five. Still a little hard to believe.

Drop the year you first walked in if you’ve been with us!

We can’t stop staring at this rainbow painting someone created recently. 🌈✨

Drippies + a little canvas wave = pure magic. 🤯😍

And we’re not gatekeeping—we’ll happily share every secret for results like this. No talent required. Just a desire to have the best day ever with your favorite people.
