Does your child spend their time putting on shows in the living room, creating characters, writing stories, designing costumes, or imagining entire worlds? Then Stories on Stage Camp might be their perfect summer adventure!

This unique camp blends visual arts and theatrical creativity as campers explore the magic of storytelling from behind the scenes and center stage. Throughout the week, they’ll create projects inspired by theater, movies, musicals, and imaginative storytelling while developing characters, exploring design, and bringing their ideas to life.

This is your LAST CALL to join her for Next Steps Sewing, a 4-week small-group series designed for students who can sew a straight line and are ready to learn more!

Starting MONDAY • 6:00–8:00 PM

With over 50 years of sewing experience, Donna has a gift for making new skills feel approachable and achievable. In this series, you’ll build confidence while creating practical projects and learning techniques you can use again and again.

Projects:
Lined tote bags with box seams
Half aprons with pockets
Wall-hanging organizers
Quilted pillows
…. And more!

Skills covered include:
• Working with different fabrics
• Using patterns (or creating without them!)
• Adding linings and pockets
• Basic quilting
• Inserting zippers
• Creating handles and straps
• Making casings and more

We recommend bringing your own sewing machine so you can become more comfortable using it, but we have machines available if needed.

Children are welcome! Adult assistance is required for students 12 and under (unless other arrangements have been made with the instructor.)

If you’ve taken a beginner sewing class—or simply know your way around a sewing machine—this is the perfect next step!

Looking for a summer camp with a little extra space to get creative?

Our afternoon Studio Creators camps are perfect for artists entering 4th grade and up (or younger creators who are mature, independent, and excited about more involved projects).

And here’s a little insider tip: some of these camps currently have smaller enrollment numbers.

That means:

✨ More room for creativity and personal expression
✨ A relaxed environment where artists can really settle into the process

Looking for a creative activity this summer that’s fun and teaches a lifelong skill? Join Donna for our popular sewing class at McHarper Manor!
