Conrad works out of his Stanfordville studio, transforming discarded tools and farm remnants into sculpture, giving new life to things that have outlived their practical use. His booth also features work by two artists he collects: Gary Kandziora, a self-taught master welder whose creations range from skeletons to locomotives and robots, and Bruno Pasquier-Desvignes, a French sculptor whose found-object pieces came from a sale at his Columbia County home before he returned to France.

This Victorian cheval mirror is solid black walnut, hand carved, with pierced foliate scrollwork up top, dating to somewhere between 1880 and 1905.

It tilts, it’s full length, and it stands on turned side posts, made for a bedroom or dressing room back when getting dressed was its own small ritual.🪞
