“Thank you” will never be enough! Our soft opening this past weekend was REMARKABLE in every way.

What a whirlwind of beauty I’ve witnessed in the last 3 days. We hustled and created for the last two months and to be able to step back and watch in fascination… was so rewarding. I still have no idea how the heck we got here. These past 6+ months feel like a blurry, beautiful blessing.

Thank you to everyone that has stopped in and gave us encouragement and support. To be in this community, serving in a way that fills our own cups up- feels overwhelmingly… right. THANK YOU!

From high grain > chocolately goodness 🐻🍪🤎

Just a little teaser, too 🤤😏

I thought this red oak was a good idea until the stain went on… then I regretted every decision. The deep grain POPPED and left us with scary animal stripes and confused actions of what to do.

Do we white wash… do we sand it down… do we just jump ship and paint them?!

The answer: BROWN WASHING 🤎

I took Sherwin Willians, “Swiss Chocolate” in a semi gloss finish and watered the paint down until we were left with a silky smooth transparent brown wash. And THAT was the answer.

Pure silky chocolate goodness that made me fall head over heels for these cabinets and our checkout counter. Now… just wait until the countertops go on 😏🤑
