Reposting from last year. Just coming off a spiritual journey with 60 men, most of which are dressed in blue, it makes you appreciate Jesus more. I have been taking Him for granted a lot lately, just keeping Him close, but only at arm's length. I wonder how many of us do this in our lives? Do we just keep Jesus at arms length and only invite Him close when we really need Him? This has been my truth for the last 5 years since moving away from my Church, Kairos prison ministry and also the Peru ABBA missions. God blessed me to be used in those for a long time. Now here in my senior years with all my aches and pains, I make excuses and only keep Jesus at arms length. I pulled him out this weekend, but I am asking his forgiveness here in this public forum and decide to not put Him at arms length again. I know he has forgiven me. Praise God.
Lord as I sit here I ask that you help me to not go back to where I was but to move forward with you and minister where you want me until I go home to be with you and see you face to face. In your name, Jesus, my Lord and brother Amen.
Are you in this place today? I invite you to join me in this journey of repentance and forgiveness. Jesus is still on the throne at the side of the father and loves you so much. I am here with 2 ears to hear if you need someone to listen and pray with you.

I have just completed a somewhat different project for a wedding that I think is a cool idea. Small jar of honey with a honey comb shape magnet that is nestled on the jar cover for guest gifts from the bride and groom. If anyone is interested in similar wedding favors or gifts, let me know, and we can collaborate on your ideas and make it happen.

Come on out to the Milton Market on Thursday. Look up Craftworks by Design booth this Thursday at the Milton Market downtown next to the old Imogene theater. We will be having an Easter Egg coloring contest for the kiddos for a chance to win a special Easter bunny/basket stand that is actually made from dry-erase board and can be colored and erased and colored again for endless fun for the children. The basket is detachable for access to the bunny for coloring. Bring out your children and have some fun.

Freedom of religion not freedom from religion. Separation of Church and state means just that . The Church does not rule government and government does not rule the Church. Most all of our constitutional foundations were based on biblical principals not religious principals. One cannot exist without the other. With no biblical principals in government then there would be chaos, which we see everyday. Murder, hate, corruption, jealousy, slander, greed ect...... No matter what you believe I say just get out and vote. If you don't vote then you have no room to complain. We need to start thinking for ourselves and not depend on what one group or the other tells us to believe. Respect one another. Appreciate one another. Love one another. Stop all the chaos.

Love! What does it mean? Love one another! What does that mean? Love unconditionally! What does that mean? The answer to all these questions is simple. It is the absence of hate.
Fist of all I am as guilty as the next person with this. We are a people that are bringing up our children to hate those that don't believe the way we do, have the things we have or live the way we do. Whether we are Christian or not it does not matter. We need to stop embracing hatred and learn to love even in our differences. That is how this great nation was founded. That is why, if we don't change the generational curses we will be no better than Palestinians and the Jewish nation. Hatred is a cancer that needs to be obliterated.
The only way to do this is through Jesus. He embodied true love. With true love there is no room for hatred. If you have a hard time with that I challenge and encourage you to read the Bible at least one time in your life. Especially 1 Corinthians 13. If you are curious what it is about, it is about hope or love. And when it says hope or love in the text substitute your name and see if you can live up to one of those terms. Maybe you can say you embody some of them but truly try to do that, one each day for the next month. See if your attitude and demeanor changes and your outlook on love changes. Blessings in Jesus

All of our central Fl friends and family. Please do not try to ride out this storm. We have a futon and couch and can setup air mattresses on the floor and don't mind being a full house for a while until you can safely go back home.
