Help shape the future of arts and culture in Delaware! The Delaware Division of the
Arts, in partnership with Cultural Planning Group, is developing a new 5-year Strategic
Plan and is inviting Delaware residents to share input through a short survey (about 5
minutes). The survey is administered by an independent organization on behalf of the
Division. Responses are anonymous and privacy is respected. Throughout the survey,
“arts, culture, and creative activities” includes everything from hobbies and student work
to personal and professional creative pursuits. At the end, you can also opt in for a

Abstract #84 Untitled (as of yet) 24"h x 15"w
This piece is not quite done. It is in raw veneer, unsanded and unfinished right now. It started as the use of some geometric scraps and. grew like topsy for 70% of its creation. And then suddenly I knew what it was and it is what you see. It arrived because I am "chasing" Vassily Kandinsky. I am obsessed with the impossible task of learning what he knew and it IS a brutally difficult task - so far.

"Wood #27 - The Mouse's dilemma" 28"h x 17"w

Once upon a time I needed the eye shaped knots common in a leaf of Karelian Birch Burl. I stumbled on the sheet of many holes a few days ago and thought - wow, put that on a piece of Paduak and it just popped. Fortuitisly, it rested on a book match of Bird's Eye Zebrano and then it just all came together. Not quite satisfied I likened it to a piece of Swiss cheese and/or a maze. Well, the maze is mouse size, therefore...........can you find the piece of cheese he will never get to? Paduak, Karelian Birch Burl, Bird's Eye Zebrano, Maple. All in multiple layers partially sanded through. A fun piece. "Frustrated Mouse?"

"Wood #26 - Red Breasted Every-birds" 31"h x 14"w
Touring my stash, a flitch of Yew appeared and fell, helpfully, right on top of some Maple Freckle. Disassembly and re-assembly yielded a wonderful contrast, that forced the addition of a red breasted every bird. Or, you could just say I had some fun. Yew, Maple Freckle, Birds Eye Zebrano, Paduak and a beaks worth of Satinwood. AKA Cheep-cheep!
