Today and every day, I'm committed to reducing the environmental impact of your wedding flowers. I source locally grown flowers when possible, design them in a super efficient studio, reuse materials and recycle or compost every scrap that leaves my studio. Because guilt is NOT one of the emotions you should be feeling on your wedding day! ✌️🌎🌿

2025 brides: the time to book your florist is now! 😱

I know it seems early, but gone are the days when florists were the last vendor to be booked. Floral design is now super-customized, highly planned out and usually dedicated to you two ONLY.

Most of my clients book 10-16 months in advance. I only serve one couple at a time to ensure you get full and undivided attention from me and my team. Prime dates for 2025 still remain!

Long overdue re-introduction post!!!

Hi friends, it’s been a while! I’m Annette, the designer behind Love & Light Wedding and Event Floristry in Antioch, IL, serving all of Chicagoland and Milwaukee. I’m obsessed with wedding flowers and can’t wait for the season to begin soon! 💐

I’ve spent the winter planning my cut flower gardens, prepping orders with a wonderful group of floral farmers and wholesalers, refining my operations to be even more efficient, expanding my team and reflecting on all I’ve accomplished this past year. My family suffered a tragic loss last fall and I’m so grateful to have the passion of floristry to help me through. 2024 is going to be a great year.

I’m excited to offer my couples some new and unique floral touches for their weddings this year! Current clients: look out for a brochure from me soon. New clients: I’ll include these ideas in your proposals. Yay!

My calendar is almost fully booked for 2024 with just a few dates remaining but I’m still accepting bookings for 2025. Now is the time to start thinking about flowers, so please let me know if I can help you navigate this very big and beautiful part of your wedding day. It’s my pleasure!
