Bring a poem, story, essay, or whatever you’ve been working on—or just come hang out, settle in, and listen. There’s never any pressure to read.

Connor always hosts such a warm, welcoming night at Midwest Shores—it’s one of those evenings that just feels good to be part of.

And a lot of love for Kelsie a graphic designer | visual storyteller , who makes the most beautiful, simple posters that somehow capture the whole vibe perfectly

Monthly poetry night hosted by 🦌 at Midwest Shores!! ☀️☀️

This is our 6th month and it’s become such a cozy, low-stakes night. Some people read essays, some read their notes app titles, some read their journal entries, and many read their poetry

If you’ve never shared your writing before, this is a great first time experience. We’re all pretty amateur and nonjudgmental

We provide hot water — so bring some tea, a mug, and something you’ve been wanting to share. :)

Midwest Shores is located in downtown Milwaukee at 207 E Wisconsin Ave
Street parking is free after 6PM, we are accessible via The Hop and MCTS bus routes. We hope to see you there 💫
