Seeking a mechanically inclined, trustworthy, self motivated individual for a full time position in a family owned and operated glass shop. The majority of our work is aluminum storefronts and glazing for commercial jobsites with a small portion of residential work.
The duties for the position we are looking to fill are as follows (but not limited to): Unloading glass and other materials from incoming trucks, Cutting and fabricating of glass and mirrors, Storm window and screen repairs, Deliveries to jobsites or other errands that need to be ran, Keeping the shop clean and organized, General maintenance knowledge of vehicles is a plus but not required. Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs on a regular basis-Assisting our aluminum fabricator with assembling frames as needed. Most of the work that this position entails will be done independently once the majority of the training process is complete so a self motivated person is the kind of worker we are looking for. Starting pay is negotiable depending on experience. Benefits after 60 day probation period include health and dental insurance and 3% company match towards IRA contributions. We are a small company where everyone wears multiple hats to get the job done. If you prefer a larger corporate atmosphere to work in then this is not the position for you.
