First, God has BLESSED me with a great talent for sewing. I started sewing when I was about 12 years old. Mom said that I got my talent from my Great Grandma Newell (her Dad's Mom). I would rather sew than do just about anything else. I have had the great honor and pleasure of making both of my daughter's wedding gowns. There hasn't been anything that I have been asked to make that I haven't tried

(some didn't turn out well). In 2019 I retired from my Federal Government career after 30 years and now have time to sew as much as I want. I have moved from doing paperwork for the government to sewing for craft shows and family and friends. So you if you see me at a craft show stop by and say "Hi". I would love to talk with you.

WELL it appears I am really slacking posting on this page.

I am cleaning out and organizing my sewing room with the help of Amy and Ariel. It has come a long way but still has a way to go. But I decided yesterday to work on a pile of fabric that needed something done with it. I didn't get it all finished but will get it finished up today.

Met this little cutie at breakfast this morning. Daddy was dressed in Ohio State so I decided she needed a Ohio State bib. Daddy said he couldn't wait to show her and the bib to all their family and friends.

This is the best part of every craft show...talking with people. This lady and I probably talked for 45 minutes about sewing stuff. She told me about making quilts for her children, grandkids and great grandkids. She had questions about using her embroidery machine that I answered for her. I told her I could talk about sewing all day.
