Yellow Dog Studio Interior & Architectural Design Studio Yellow Dog Studio is a team of energetic and focused independent professionals. We are purposely small, agile, and nimble.

We are trained as architects and interior designers, but as a rule we don’t segregate our core team into functional
silos. Our strength is in our understanding of the entire process and our holistic team approach, paired with our ability to bring in consultants during appropriate project phases to efficiently fill specialized roles. Our experience has taught us many things; one of the most important is that the best work is not done by employees with time to fill, but instead by a
curated team of the best and brightest individuals who possess shared values and complementary skills, all working towards a common goal. We’re not the biggest. We’re the best and -- frankly -- the only. We have an amazing network of wickedly
smart people with various strengths and talents. We engage with these folks regularly and bring them in as consultants to fill the right roles on projects at the right times. The unique contributions that each individual brings to our team are what makes our projects truly kick ass. This philosophy isn’t just talk, it’s our business.

We love partnering with artists and installers to combine unusual, often local, art to bring architecture to life. Even a secondary entry or back corridor can become a moment of visual interest and inspiration.

This renovated open stair now connects six floors. Our team partnered with to save our client money by keeping the structure and glass guardrails of the existing five storey staircase, while completely refinishing it with fresh wood, carpet, and sound absorbing panels designed to compliment their W brand. We added the sixth floor as part of our renovation/ expansion (check out the before and after photos!) and each landing even has its own amenity space - a coffee and beverage bar is shown here.

Looking at things from a new angle…
We replaced a number of spandrel panels on Capella Tower with vision glass for a recent project. This gentleman is making that change look easy, even on the 35th floor!
