So the first show of the year is in Detroit Lakes. The question is how many parts of the display did we forget. We are at 5 and counting. So the event starts at 10 this morning and goes until 7 tonight tomorrow is 10-5. New this year is the official release of the Maple Rum BBQ sauce which exactly as it sounds. Maple Syrup as the sweetener and Rum as the flavor enhancer. Also kind of new is the reformulated Habanero Dry Rub. Coarse grain on most ingredients and it’s really good.

Super Bowl party in Palm Desert. 4 racks of ribs in the smoker, mac and cheese getting ready for smoker and pork belly burnt ends just going in. One of my favorite days of the year. Now if they could just just dreaming. Skol!

This weekend November 15 & 16 Mister Dister will be at the Festival of Trees put on by the Junior League of Duluth. I will be in the Edmund Fitzgerald room in boot 109/110. We will be featuring our gift boxes (smokers special, best seller habanero and honey mustard lovers). These make great gifts for someone who enjoys grilling or smoking meats. For the deer hunters the rubs really add flavor to the jerky.
