MY WEBSITE IS FINALLY LIVE!!!
As you're all aware I have been working hard to start a business. Something to call my own that I can grow and create on my own steam (and that of Dave's)
It's hard... I'm my own worst critic and I'm so grateful to have good people in my life to encourage and push me. Dave McNeely got tired of seeing me run up against so many road blocks and set out to build me a site. It's such a labor of love. There's still much to do and add but it's a fantastic start .
I will be adding more customizable boards in the coming week. I've partnered with Making Blank Group to offer some exciting one of a kind new items that you'll see me publish here and on the website.

So a few of you have asked what the design process looks like.
I get a lot of people that are overwhelmed with trying to commit to something... and they ask for something...anything. I warn people I lean towards the funny and weird and luckily lots of people are interested in that

So I spoke with this client and we talked about what she wanted the board to be used for... cutting? Or display like charcuterie? Or decoration... where it had a hole to hang it.
This customer wanted a chopping board with her sons name on it. (Our kids have the same name!) But wanted something funny or witty.
She threw out a sentence... I came back with ideas

The captions have the explanation... when she approves the final test cut I'll add the pics of the final two steps

If you're not getting this clear of a service from your artist they are doing it wrong. Don't ever be afraid to edit or ask for something else.
