A longtime client of mine worked with Architecture of Belonging ☽⋮☾ Where Space Meets Soul on this lovely bathroom addition. She incorporated hand painted tiles she had picked up decades ago during her travels and mixed them in with this rich terracotta tile for both the backsplash and the shower. But then the vanity felt a little floaty and she was wishing she’d used the terracotta tile in that space, as well. I suggested she just paint the wall to match the tile and she did! It’s so much more cozy, grounded and cohesive. What do you think?

With all my years of digging through trash, it’s a wonder this hasn’t happened sooner! No hard feelings. I still adore the trashcan and am Home ReSource Missoula biggest fan. However, just something to keep in mind next time you donate and shop secondhand…check for sharp objects.

Also, shoutout to my wonderful friends who swooped in. Especially the amazing Gaaby Rappaport who was there when this went from an urgent care to an ER type of visit. Despite being totally grossed out by it all 🤢
