Flare guns like this were manufactured by the International Flare and Signal Company out of Tippecanoe (now Tipp) City in Ohio. The model on display here was used by both merchant marines and the navy throughout WWII.

This model of flare gun loads a 37mm signal cartridge. Even today, the design for signal guns hasn't changed much, and is still widely used for emergency rescue purposes.

Tube testers like this Confidence-brand model (circa 1930) were used to test and evaluate vacuum tubes. Tubes would be inserted in the matching slots on the board, and after setting the dial, the meter would provide a reading of the tube's performance. Though outdated compared to modern radio tube types, these testers still remain highly prized collectors items!

When you come into the store, chances are you'll notice the Model-T Depot Truck above the counter. What you might not know at a glance is that this is no replica - it's the genuine article, manufactured in 1918!

Guy and Grant purchased this truck when they were teenagers and restored it to working order. They even used it to drive their sister to and from her wedding in 1971! According to them, the truck is still in good enough condition that you could pull it off the wall, replace the driver-side wheels, and take it right back onto the road.

Good morning everyone! We want to thank everyone for the prayers and support for Axmen Recycling after Sunday’s fire. We are getting a lot of questions about the roosters. Just want to assure everyone that the main original Axmen on the highway is not the Axmen that is on fire. Axmen Recycle is the location of the fire. We are praying for limited damage and for the safety of all those working diligently to put it out.
