🌴🐚 The Chicks Dig It metal detecting gang is hitting the road tomorrow! 🐚🌴

And when a bunch of grown women escape real life and head to the beach together, you KNOW there will be laughing, carrying on, games, prizes, questionable decisions, and absolutely NO adult supervision. 😂🤣

And, of course, everybody gets a little beachy souvenir from yours truly! 🐚❤️ This year I made our own Chicks Dig It – Clearwater 2026 souvenir shells because apparently I am physically incapable of going anywhere without turning it into a craft project. 🤦‍♀️😂

Got a girls’ trip, cruise, family reunion, wedding, birthday getaway or some other shindig coming up?

Give Granny a holler! I can create a custom shell just for your crew — destination, dates, theme, inside jokes… whatever makes it yours. 🐚

Because T-shirts eventually wear out… but a seashell can sit around collecting dust for YEARS. 🤣🤣🤣

🏖️ GRANNY’S RUNNING AWAY AGAIN! 😂

Wellllll… so much for buckling down and getting some shell work done. 🤷‍♀️

I’m headed out of town AGAIN tomorrow for another road trip — this time to Clearwater, Florida for another Chicks Dig It beach metal detecting adventure! 🏖️🚗💨

And since it’s Labor Day weekend, I’m just hoping all those beachgoers have been properly careless with their rings, jewelry and other shiny things. 😂💍

Of course, anything we find that can be traced back to an owner, Beach Angel - Ring Recovery and I will always do our best to get it home where it belongs. ❤️

But anything that CAN’T be returned?

Well… finder’s keepers may help finance gas and snacks. 🤣🤣

So the oysters, Mod Podge, resin and rhinestones are just going to have to sit there and behave themselves for a few more days.

I PROMISE I’ll work hard when I get back.

Probably.

Maybe.

After I clean all the sand out of everything I own. 😜🐚

Life is short. Take the road trip. Dig the beach. The craft table will still be there when you get home. ❤️

😂 SEPTEMBER 1ST, Y’ALL.

According to the internet, I’m supposed to be feeling fall vibes today. 🍂🎃

Meanwhile, down here in the Deep South, it’s still hot as blue blazes, the humidity is disrespectful, the mosquitoes are thriving, and there is NOT A WHIFF of pumpkin spice in the air. 😂

I’m not ready for cardigans, crunchy leaves, or cute little boots.

But let some scary clown whisper “seashells, pretty napkins, Mod Podge, resin, gold leaf and rhinestones” from a storm drain and Granny will climb right in. 🤣🐚✨

THAT is my kind of seasonal temptation.

A few more Mahjong Dice/Trinket Dishes coming off Granny’s workbench — AND don’t forget the Mahjong W**e Glass Trinket Sets, all pretty and gift boxed! 🎁🍷

Because apparently Mahjong ladies need accessories too. 😂

The dishes are perfect for corralling dice during the game or holding rings and other little treasures afterward. And the w**e glass trinkets? Well… those might help you remember which glass is yours after “Just One More Game.” 😏🍷

I just watched somebody slurp down 55 raw oysters in under ONE MINUTE. 😳🦪

FIFTY. FIVE.

Now y’all know Granny loves an oyster…

…but I generally prefer mine empty, washed, decoupaged, covered in resin, and selling for $30. 😂

All I could think while watching this was:

Bless his heart. And his stomach. And whatever poor soul has to share a bathroom with him later. 😬

And while the rest of y’all are probably thinking, “How in the world did he eat 55 oysters that fast?!”

Granny is over here doing shell math:

55 oysters = 110 SHELLS. 😍🦪🦪🦪

Yesterday’s favorite Dolly prototypes have officially been chosen! 🙌

I’m tweaking them a little this morning because apparently I’m incapable of leaving well enough alone. 🤷‍♀️😂

And OF COURSE there will be rhinestones! ✨💎 Because Dolly loved her bling… and so does Granny. I don’t leave home without my sparkles! 😂✨ Just ask my daughter ! 😏
