Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit—Granny’s Moldy Oldies ADHD outside workbench just got a LUXURY UPGRADE! 📺🐚😂

Some women want diamonds. Granny wants to watch Tom Cruise while she glues things to a crab or seashell. We all have our love language, right ? 🤷‍♀️ Now I can stream my ’60s and ’70s moldy oldie tunes WITH video! Finally see the fellas I’ve been carrying on with over the radio for the last fifty years. Some of us have aged better than others, but bless our hearts, we’re still making noise. 🎶💃

And Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime… lawd, the possibilities! Top Gun, The Green Mile, A Few Good Men… Fifty Shades of Grey. 🤭 That last one is educational. Granny works with paint. Needs to know her shades !!

Y’all got any good movie recommendations? Drop ’em below! Preferably something worth looking up from a shell for. 🍿

And I PROMISE I’ll turn it off when the cutting tools come out. Granny’s trying to make inventory, not become the nine-fingered craft lady at the Christmas market. 😬✂️

Now if somebody would install a snack window in that wall to the kitchen and bring me a Bloody Mary, this establishment might finally meet my standards. 🍹😂

✨ TIPS & TRICKS TUESDAY ✨

Granny tried a new product at the moldy oldies ADHD workbench… and now everything within reach is in danger of becoming iridescent. 🤣🐚

This is LET’S RESIN White Chrome Powder, and I’m in LOVE with the finish! Here’s what I did:

🐚 Covered a natural shell with a light coat of UV resin.
💡 Popped it under the UV lamp for literally just a few seconds.
🖌️ Used a soft brush to lightly dust the surface with the powder.
✨ Finished curing the resin to a hard, iridescent shine!

The shell still has its beautiful natural texture and color, but now she’s got a little extra razzle-dazzle. Apparently Granny has reached the “put highlighter on seashells” stage of her second childhood. 🤷‍♀️😂 The picture doesn’t do it justice so I will post a separate video as well …….

A little dusting goes a long way… which is good, because Granny has approximately 9,742 more shells that might need a makeover. 🐚✨

Ended my workday risking life and limb… okay, mostly THUMB… carving a cross into my tiniest scallop shell yet! Barely ONE INCH! 😬🐚✝️

This little bo**er is going to make a beautiful necklace for somebody, but Granny would prefer not to include a finger with the purchase. 😂

I’m not sure if my afternoon coffee is working against my morning Bloody Mary, but the management here at the moldy oldies ADHD workbench has decided I need to put the power tools away today before I push my luck. 🍀🤦‍♀️

Tomorrow is another day… and I’d like to start it with the same number of fingers I had this morning. 🙌😂

Granny wasn’t feeling like running down to da bayou to catch crabs today, so I gave the crabs a reprieve and played with something different! 🦀🤣

These tiny natural scallop shells were collected right off the beach by yours truly (with a little help from Beach Angel - Ring Recovery…who may be an accomplice in my shell-hoarding problem. 🤭🐚)

A little patience, some cutting tools, and a few prayers later… Voila- carved cross necklaces! A little piece of the beach and a reminder of faith to carry close to your heart. 🤍✝️ I have some available in both gold and silver. Each necklace comes nicely gift boxed—ready to give someone a little faith and a little piece of the beach! 🐚✝️🎁 Even if that someone is yourself. Granny doesn’t judge. 😉🤣

And happily, all of Granny’s fingers are still intact! Around this ADHD workbench, we count that as a successful crafting day when working with sharp objects 🙌🤣

Well, Granny only THOUGHT she had her case of crabs cleared up and had made enough nativities. 🤦‍♀️🦀😂

Judging by the overwhelming response and the pile of messages in my inbox (NOT complaining!) apparently y’all have other plans for Granny’s ADHD moldy oldies workbench today !

So it’s back to making more little crab-shell Christmas nativity scenes… AND somebody’s gonna have to go catch, cook, eat and clean another couple dozen crabs. Strictly for craft supplies, you understand. 😇🦀🧈

Some artists suffer for their art. Granny apparently has to eat seafood. 🤷‍♀️😂

It’s a hard life, but somebody’s gotta do it! Thank y’all for keeping me busy, blessed… and crabby! ❤️

Granny’s about nativitied OUT after this week… but with this case of crabs hanging around, I was just itching 😉 to try doing one on a crab shell! 🦀😂

A little blue paint, a little sparkle, and would you look at that… O Holy CRAB! 🤣✨

I think I love it! Apparently I’m not tired enough to stop—just tired enough to complain while I keep making things. 🤦‍♀️

What if flamingos pulled Santa’s sleigh instead of reindeer? 🤔🦩🎅 Maybe they do at the beach! Rudolph can take the night off—we’ve got a bird in sunglasses who knows the coastlines 😎😂

Since Granny still has this case of crabs hanging around 🙄🦀, I decided to play around a little at the moldy oldies ADHD workbench today.

Next thing I knew, Santa and Mrs. Claus were vacationing on a crab back with their designated flyer. Apparently, there is NO adult supervision in this workshop. 🤷‍♀️🤣

Now help Granny decide: shelf display or hanging ornament?
