We’re pairing these gorgeous tile selections with deep blue walls to create a space that feels moody, relaxing, and just a little dramatic. This bathroom is going to be a beauty.

Come tour the downstairs primary suite at 307 N. Jackson Street with me! 🤍

One of the biggest goals with this 1860 home has been creating a layout that works beautifully for modern living while still honoring everything that makes this house so special.

The first-floor primary suite will feature a spacious bedroom, private ensuite bathroom, 2 large closets and will overlook the gallery porch — all tucked into one of my favorite parts of the home.

It’s still very much a work in progress, but you can finally start to see this space taking shape. Come take a look! ✨

A little addition update at 104 Mohawk Street!

It may not be the biggest space— sitting at only 260 sq ft— but man is that 260 sq Ft going to change someone’s life one day! Haha

We’re taking the laundry from under the stairs and adding a designated laundry room, adding a full guest bathroom downstairs, a gorgeous butler’s pantry with alllll kinds of storage, and redirecting the stairs to provide a significantly larger primary suite.

She’s coming together, and we couldn’t be happier with what we are seeing! She’s finally starting to feel like the plans we have had for her.

A little behind-the-scenes progress at 13 Audubon Place 🏡

Russell is showing us how we’re adding a brick water runoff along the side of the garage to help direct water around the structure instead of underneath it—one of those important details you may never notice once the project is finished, but makes all the difference.

And inside, Tiffany gives you a quick peek at the downstairs primary bedroom flooring being laid today! Things are really starting to come together around here. 🤍

There’s something pretty satisfying about replacing 100-year-old plumbing. At 104 Mohawk, we uncovered the original terracotta drain pipes—an incredible little piece of history, but definitely one we don’t want to preserve. 😂😂

This week, the old terracotta has being replaced with new PVC, giving this home a plumbing system built for the next chapter of its life. One of our favorite parts of renovating older homes is preserving the character you can see, while completely updating the things you can’t.

307 N. Jackson is getting one of my favorite details yet. 🤍

Today we’re hunting for the perfect antique doors to become a pair of pocket doors inside this 1860 home. We found these incredible 8-foot-tall x 40-inch antique French paneled doors that will be paired together and tucked into the wall—adding back the kind of scale, character, and craftsmanship this house deserves.

Old houses call for old souls… even in the doors. ✨

A quick update on 104 Mohawk Street! Come with us as we check out the small tweaks we made in the living spaces to open up the floor plan a bit and give it a little extra “flow.” Are you guys fans of the open concept or do you prefer a more room to room floor plan? We feel like these changes allow you to have a little of both!

We will be following up with part 2 next week to cover the primary suite and addition that will include the downstairs full bath, laundry room, and pantry! See you then!
