When Lawrence Marjan founded Enterprise Glass Co in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago in 1909, the city looked a lot different than it does now. But there were some familiar institutions! Here are a few things that are older than Enterprise Glass:

That 117 years ago today, Enterprise Glass began? After four years working with a friend, Lawrence Marjan struck out on his own. The first office was located at 6211 S. Aberdeen in Chicago and originally focused on windows and mirrors. We're still family owned and operated after all these years, and still serving southwest Chicagoland and northwest Indiana. Come visit us in Mokena to learn more about our products and services and our commitment to quality and excellence. Pictured is Lawrence Marjan and Arnold Rasmussen at their original Englewood Glass storefront, circa 1905. Harry Rasmussen, who would later take over Englewood Glass, is on the wagon.
