Handmade Greeting Cards
I make and sell greeting cards for every occasion. This started as me making my own Christmas cards, and blossomed into a business. The first couple years, I made cards to send to friends and family, then I had a couple friends ask if I could make their cards. I decide then that I wanted to do this as more than a hobby.
I enjoy putting together different layers and textures to get a rich unique experience. I love things that sparkle and glitter, so most of my cards use a shimmer paper in white or cream or gold; and some use a glitter paper!
A little about the maker: My name is Nikki, I live on a mini-farm just outside of Monroe, WA with my husband and our 9 chickens, 6 goats, 4 dogs, and 3 rabbits. I grew up in Seattle, WA in the Ballard neighborhood; it is great to be living in a town built by working folk again. I loved old Ballard, when it was still a sleepy fishing community, where people knew who each other was. My father is a retired commercial fisherman, and I grew up helping him on the boat at the Fisherman’s Terminal.
Custom orders are tons of fun and I enjoy doing them. If you see a card you’d like to order in bulk message me! Or if you have an idea on a card you want to have made - message me and we can talk through it. As an example; I’ve put together a Frozen themed castle invitation set for someone’s daughter’s 1st Birthday party as a custom order. I look forward to helping you design a custom card.
