Now & Then 🤍

This bathroom needed.. help. The shower was boxed in right next to the door, which awkwardly funneled you into the room. For a large bathroom there was next to no storage, odd for a main bath. We opened it up and built the tub into an expansive double shower for a focal point with function. A range of neutrality in soothing neutrals offers so much visual interest without overwhelming. Calgon take me away!

We are leaving Italy today, back to New York. What an inspiring and interesting month. My cup is filled with beauty and curiosity. I’m excited to lean into a newly appreciated slowness at home. To continue to dive into home and all of its envelopment. For now, a calm moment from the main suite at Camp Comfort Road. Extraordinary chaise rocker by Oscar Niemeyer.

Hot summer nights, mid July ✨ A guest suite for open windows and late mornings. An antique Swedish desk layers in on a wallpaper wrapped cocoon of a room. In the adjoining bath a marine grade burl wood vanity and tub apron shine against the calmest of greens. Camp Comfort Guest Suite.

The east facing den features an original masonry fireplace and a handsome roll arm sofa upholstered in the timeless Ralph Lauren plaid. Leading to the second floor this room is a warm respite for a good book & a quiet think.

Kapow 🐅 Sometimes a sunroom just calls for a little funk. A custom loveseat upholstered in the perfect timeless tiger print and a mid century punch via On the walls a hand painted reproduction of a 17th c. Italian fresco. A lotta sun a lotta fun.

Behind every great kitchen 🍒

This room just needed the tiniest of new touches. We left the original cabinetry and wood countertops, worn by decades of use, in the pantry which is also the connection point between the kitchen and the family sitting room.
