Isaiah 35….

When I was praying about the name of my business, the word “Joy” kept coming to mind. As I prayed through what scripture would be the foundation of my business, Isaiah 35 is where I kept being drawn.

It speaks to me a little differently every time I read it. Some days I’m clear about why I was lead to it for this business. Some days I need to ask the Lord to remind me or renew my understanding. That’s how faith goes sometimes.

I wanted to read to you today this scripture, the heart behind River of Joy Collective, and allow it to speak to you today too. Praying it will be a stream in the desert for you today.

Hurricane Isaias can’t ruin our fun!

YES We are open tomorrow! (And still open til 5:00 today) The rain should be cleared out for us in the morning 😃 However, we are postponing our tent clearance sale event.

I don’t love using AI for a lot of things, but it sure does come in clutch in so many ways! Sometimes grabbing some inspiration from Mr. Chat for a certain piece is all we need to help us know we can purchase the thing we love and make it work in our home. I’ll be real. It hasn’t gone exactly as I had hoped….a little bit real slow….but that’s just a part of it. There was one day in there that should not have been hard at all, but it wore me out for the rest of the day! 🤪 However, I’ve totally enjoyed the new iFIT series I joined with one of my favorite coaches…Tommy Rivs. The Joy of Running. Yep. That’s what we’re here to relearn and I’m here for it! This series is a part of his recovery journey and testimony too, which is so amazing. Can’t wait to make it through all of these Joy of Running series with him! Here’s to these last few runs and all the ones ahead!

I haven’t loved the outcome of some of my latest cyanotypes, but that’s part of the process. It’s all a learning experience….what works; what doesn’t; what is something to try next time. It never stops being fun. 💙
