💨 Beat the Heat – How to Install a Ceiling Fan (Or Let Us Do It For You!) 💪🔧

Thinking about installing a ceiling fan to stay cool this summer? It’s a great way to improve airflow and save on energy bills—but only if it’s installed properly! Here’s a quick overview of how it's done:

Turn Off the Power – Safety first! Always cut the power at the breaker box.

Remove the Old Fixture – If you’re replacing a light, carefully disconnect wires and remove the old mount.

Install a Fan-Rated Electrical Box – Not all ceiling boxes are fan-rated. You’ll need one that can handle the weight and motion of a fan.

Assemble the Fan – Put the blades, motor, and any lighting kit together per the included instructions.

Mount the Fan to the Ceiling – Securely attach the fan bracket and motor assembly to the fan-rated box.

💧Leaking Water Heater? Here's What To Do!

A leaking water heater can quickly go from a small drip to a big problem. If you notice water pooling around your unit, follow these steps:

1. Turn Off the Power
🔌 Electric? Flip the breaker.
🔥 Gas? Turn the gas valve to "off."

2. Shut Off the Water Supply
Look for the cold water valve (usually above the heater) and turn it off to stop the flow.

3. Drain the Tank (if necessary)
Use a garden hose to safely drain the water to a floor drain or away from your home—this helps prevent water damage.

4. Check for the Source
Is it the pressure relief valve, drain valve, or the tank itself?
