How it all started...

Back in 2013, my husband deployed to Afghanistan. I wanted to try and do something to help boost morale, and give me some type of feeling like I was helping; so I started baking. I tried out different methods of packaging, some more successful than others, and throughout the 9-months he was gone, I had shipped one box of cookies every 3-weeks.

In 2015, he deployed again, and again I sent cookies as often as I could. The Soldiers greatly enjoyed what became known as, “cookie days” in Afghanistan. It really gave me a sense of pride that I was able to boost morale from thousands of miles away. Whenever my husband came back from getting his mail with an APO/FPO Large Flat Rate Box, everyone knew there were cookies.

I still continue sending cookies to deployed Soldiers. They have been enjoyed by Soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, and all over the United States. I never thought my little hobby to help me through deployment would turn into a frequently requested service, but here we are. Thank you for your support and enjoy!
