Sometimes all it takes is one can of paint to completely transform a room.

We gave this space a fresh new look with just one can of paint and a couple of new rugs. Everything else was already in our home—we simply shopped the house and redecorated with pieces we already owned.

You don’t always need to buy all new furniture or décor to create a space you love. A little creativity, a fresh coat of paint, and rearranging what you already have can make a room feel completely new.

For the past few weeks, I’ve had the privilege of helping a wonderful client transform her space, room by room. One thing I always encourage is this: use the things you love. Don’t hide them away in closets or boxes waiting for the “perfect” time.

Your home doesn’t need to be Instagram-perfect or staged to someone else’s standards. Decorate with the things that inspire you, hold special memories, and make you smile every day. Surround yourself with what brings you joy.

Creating spaces that feel comfortable, welcoming, and uniquely yours is what I love most. Seeing a house become a home again is truly my passion.

This guest room just needed a little TLC. It had become a catch-all space with random things the kids had tossed in, but with some cleaning, organizing, and a few thoughtful touches on the walls, it’s now warm, inviting, and comforting again.
