So this is big news to me, but shouldn't make a lick of difference to all our customers: after 12 years, I am handing Barnesville Easels over to new operators. Good news for you: they're also the old operators! Our original fabricators have agreed to continue manufacturing, prepping, and shipping the equipment my father designed, and it will continue to meet the same high standards of construction as always. I will miss corresponding with you and getting to meet some of you at conferences, but I know Barnesville Easels remains in excellent hands.

Hey friends--long time no see! Just realized that we're about two weeks out from the FATE Conference in Denver!! I don't know if I'm more excited about getting to share our art studio equipment with instructors or just getting some of our unending snowdrifts fading in the rear-view mirror...
Anyway, filled with excitement and hope to see lots of you there!

Daytime temps are already dropping a little here in Minnesota, which has us wistful about the end of summer.
Autumn means a new school year, and we hope yours are off to great start! If you suddenly find that enrollment exceeds your anticipated numbers or accountants slip a little extra grant money your way, we're delighted to help you stock up on additional equipment! Hope the new year is off to a good start for you.
We are dismayed to find that the upcoming CAA Conference will be virtual--but as Bill Nighy says, "safety first."
While we're riding out the latest COVID development, now may be a good time to check the status of your equipment: we keep cane ends in stock to replace the feet on Drawing Donkeys and Stak Easels, and our video on rebalancing sticky or slipping Barnesville Clips may help restore function.

It's pretty miserable here in Minnesota for plein air painting, but after a year of pandemic parsimoniousness, now may be a good time to plan for new studio layouts. Our two models of easels are designed to serve the demands of classroom use for years to come, and our Drawing Donkeys are more like Drawing Workhorses!
