Years ago I went straight from paint chip to wall. I’ve since learned the value of samples; a little time spent testing goes a long way. Jim and I took a couple trips to the paint store before settling on this amazing green, but it was so worth it. It’s like an episode of Curb Appeal the Block over here on WV Ave. 💚

Also love that this exterior color reflects the really cute green leather couches inside. Nothing like some inside-out coordination!

I’m pretty excited about the most recent color transformation. I think it even makes the houses around it look better! 😊 Flip to see where it started, where it went, and how it looks now. The blue was good, but the fade was very real. Apparently natural pigments fade less, so 🤞for terra cotta! Thanks to Hewitt’s Detailed Painting for the great work.

If anyone wants help picking colors, my paint chip bag will travel! 🎨

A splash of color always makes me feel better. So I transformed my stairwell during the big freeze. 🥶 And finally added a missing trim piece that has been bothering me for years!
