Layla's Loveys ✨Custom Crochet Creations & Handmade Home Decór✨ Hello! I'm Brittany. I'm a full-time accountant and have been married to a firefighter for over 8 years.

In late 2017, I found out I was pregnant with our first baby - a little girl! Unfortunately, in 2018, our little girl was stillborn. We named her Layla, as that was always going to be her name. A little over a year later, we welcomed her little brother - our rainbow baby - and almost two years after that, we welcomed her little sister. I've always wanted to do something in honor and in memory of m

y firstborn. My best friend and I have been crocheting lovies and plushies together for a while, primarily for craft shows. I've been accumulating some lovies and plushies during this time, and I've finally gotten the courage to branch out of my comfort zone and create "Layla's Loveys." 💚🩵🧡 These are the Triceratops, Pterodactyl, and Triceratops Loveys featuring Premium Yarn x Mama Made Minis color collab!

I embroidered their eyes and added light stuffing to the body to make them a little extra snuggly and safe for the tiniest of hands. 👋🏼

Personal note:
Today is Layla's 8th Heavenly birthday. One of my biggest fears when life moved on after Layla's birth and passing was having her forgotten by others. My husband and I are very blessed to have such supportive family and friends who always honor her and have reached out to us today to acknowledge that her "stillbirthday" is both joyful in remembering her life and heartbreaking that it was also the last day we were able to spend with our firstborn.

Thank you to all who have supported our family for the last 8 years, and those who have taken the time to read the story behind the start of "Layla's Loveys" as we've met you along the way. 🩷
