Attention MCM LOVERS! I helped stage (with Set The Stage Cin-Day Corridor) this fabulous relic from the 70’s and what a cool house it is. It’s HUGE (5 bedrooms), has a pool, a great lot, has great bones, lots of fun mid-century features (I particularly love the round acrylic door k***s and wallpapers), full finished basement, but could use a little TLC.

Hello, from my little creative corner of the house!👋

Our last shipment of heirloom antiques from Denmark included this secretary desk and chair that have been in my husband’s family for generations and was very sentimental to him. Although we had NO ROOM for any more furniture in this house, I had to use my space planning skills and ended up creating a little cozy creative corner for myself in our dining room. My husband works out of our home office so this gave me my own little space that I didn’t know I needed. I’ll be painting the walls a lighter color (sample painted on wall in photo) to brighten up this room that doesn’t get much natural light, but in the meantime, I made a gallery wall with some of my paintings. Off to Tennessee this week to hang out with my favorite Mama! ☺️ ~ Andrea Joy

I’m not sure how long modeling paste takes to fully dry before varnishing, but I can’t wait to get the first coat of varnish on. That final step pulls the painting together for me, although the texture here may add some challenges. We will see.☺️~ Andrea Joy🎨

A little wildflower surprise gift from Mother Nature.🌞🌬️🌧️🌸 ☺️ Just because it wasn’t part of the plan doesn’t mean it’s not beautiful, right. 🙌🏻 We had such a lovely Memorial Day yesterday and it was so nice to be outside in the yard after having a couple of soggy, rainy days inside. I finally got the flower garden I started last year under control and finished up just in time to watch a gorgeous hot pink sunset. Counting my blessings. ~ Andrea Joy 😎
