A little wildflower surprise gift from Mother Nature.🌞🌬️🌧️🌸 ☺️ Just because it wasn’t part of the plan doesn’t mean it’s not beautiful, right. 🙌🏻 We had such a lovely Memorial Day yesterday and it was so nice to be outside in the yard after having a couple of soggy, rainy days inside. I finally got the flower garden I started last year under control and finished up just in time to watch a gorgeous hot pink sunset. Counting my blessings. ~ Andrea Joy 😎

One of my all time favorites to transform. So fun!! A nod to Paris.

This bold, beautiful, artistic, one-of-a-kind jewel finally met her match. I put a lot of heart and soul into my work and sometimes become attached. This piece was inspired by pieces I admired during trips to Paris and a gorgeous headboard I fell in love with from .rogersdesigns. Glad she found a good home. ☺️. We’re open today 11:00-5:00.

BLACK PETUNIAS! Oh my, these are gorgeous! They look like black velvet!!! I stopped by SharonNursery yesterday just to “look” but snatched up these pretties as they came off the delivery truck. Since we could possibly still have frost until mid-May, I like that these hanging planters (I took the hangers off) are just sitting in my pots, so if we do have another frost, I can easily bring them inside. Hoping the deer don’t get on the deck to eat them this year! ~ Andrea Joy 🖤

This fountain sits right beside the porch swing in the back of our potting shed. I look forward to getting it going every year. I just love the water sound and it attracts so much wildlife. ~Andrea Joy❤️

Happy Easter!

This morning, I remembered posting this photo years ago when our house was full. Two kids, three dogs, four cats, and two parents with big goals and dreams. The kids are grown, the two big bunnies are no longer with us, the little bunny is becoming an old lady now, and we’re down to two cats. What felt like such a chaotic time is now just a beautiful memory. And I miss that so much. But we get the opportunity to make a new path, new plans and new memories. What a gift! May we all enjoy the gift of new beginnings. ~Andrea Joy🐰

It was coincidental that I happened to be in Mexico during Day of the Dead celebrations several years ago. Before that trip, I was completely ignorant about this holiday. I thought skulls were creepy and I never understood how some people liked and even decorated them. Gross. But then I saw these beautiful, colorful alters people built to celebrate loved ones who had passed, each alter filled with all the favorite things, foods, drinks, flowers, candy, photos, etc. of the deceased. I knew exactly zero of the deceased but found myself admiring each alter and looking at all the items their loved ones placed there. Something I thought was so weird, morbid and maybe even evil turned out to be something so thoughtful and beautiful once I learned about it. And that’s what inspired this Sugar Skull painting. 😊~ Andrea Joy💀
