Happy Boss’s Day to our very own Tracie!

They say it takes a special person to run a business, but it takes a whole different level of patience to run a flower shop and put up with this bunch!

Between the ringing phones, last-minute orders, holiday craziness, questionable conversations, and the daily dose of chaos, we’re pretty sure there’s never a dull moment at Mount Airy Florist!

Thank you, Tracie, for all the hard work, long hours, and love you pour into this shop. For letting us be ourselves, laughing right along with us (or at least pretending to 😂), and somehow keeping this whole circus running!

We may drive you a little crazy, but we sure do love and appreciate all you everyday! 💗

Dear Diary,

I’ve moved out of the windows. I found a box, and frankly, the seating upgrade speaks for itself.

The humans are talking about Christmas and rearranging the shop. I’ve offered to help by sitting on every box. They keep saying, “Miss Kitty, we need to move that.”

I don’t understand the problem. The box is clearly occupied.

We had a pretty special day at the Carolina Classic Fair last night! Both of our competition pieces took first place in the professional florist division! We put a lot of thought into the story behind each design, so it meant a lot to have them both win. I don't want to brag, but I'm pretty proud of what we created, and I think I'm going to let myself enjoy this one!

The theme for the swag was 4th of July.

Now that the weather is cooperating, it’s time to make the decor look the part! We still have a selection of beautiful fall wreaths, door hangers, florals and décor around the shop — with everything from traditional fall to a little Halloween fun!
