A transformation Tuesday post doesn’t feel right. Neither does a shop small post or a photo of a squad car. People come here to escape the harsh realities of the world. They are looking for a safe haven. An adoptive home town. A close knit community of neighbors who care for one another. A place where no one feels left behind. We are those things and more, but we recognize that nowhere is exempt from the devastation of gun violence. Today we weep for Nashville and the many families who have lost their love ones too soon. Mount Airy stands with you. 🤍

We are so saddened by the partial collapse of the Main Oak Emporium building this morning. Our store will be unable to open today due to street closures.

Friends, we are shocked and saddened by the partial collapse of the pivotal and historic Main Oak Building. Please stay away from the corner of Oak St and Main St today as the area is secured. Thank you for your understanding. 💚
