What does it look like where you live??

We have around 8 inches of snow here in Mt. Airy, NC with the wind chill at 2°...and it's expected to be a lot colder.

But, it sure does make a pretty landscape ❄️❄️❄️❄️

Last night my sweet father-in-law got to meet Jesus 💔
He was instantly healed of a broken back, of cancer, of blood clots, and most importantly, of grief. He was reunited with his wife, his daughter and multiple other families members that have gone on before him.
Although our hearts are broken, we take great strength in knowing we will see him again one day ❤️

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this new normal 🙏❤️🙏

***ALL baskets are claimed!! Thank you all so much for the donations. If you don't know, we fundraise a minimum of $2300 a piece to walk the 3 days and we cover the cost of our flight, hotel and Uber. This helps us a lot ♥️♥️♥️

On Wednesday, my sister-in-law and I will be traveling to San Diego, CA, for the Susan G Komen 3-day. We will walk 60 miles in 3 days in support of breast cancer research! 🎀

The following baskets have been donated by me in order to help pay for travel expenses. I'm asking for a minimum amount of donation, and they are tax-free!! There's not a lot of different items but I hope to raise enough to cover Uber costs and my flight ♥️♥️

I'm still here!!!
I've received a bunch of messages and emails asking if I'm still sewing and the answer is yes, although in a very limited manner.

The truth is, we've been drowning in everyday life over here. Working full-time is a lot but no where near the stress of being primary caregivers for 2 family members. Since February there's been no break. It's been surgeries, cancer treatments, a lot of hospital visits and stays.

I've honestly thought about quitting sewing several times this year BUT the other night I was finally able to sit down and sew (my fifth memory basket in probably 5 or 6 months 😔). It made my heart skip a little beat at being able to sew again!

I apologize if I've not been able to reach out to everyone that has messaged but I've just not had time. I'm back sewing now so I promise to try and get everything caught up!!!

Thank you all for loving my baskets and supporting me. It means the world to me ♥️.

If you've made it this far, I do have a limited number of smaller baskets that I'm going to post tonight at 9pm. There are several ornaments for all of you that decorate early.
All of these items have been "donated" by me too raise money for our Susan G Komen 3-day trip. All of them will have a minimum donation and will be tax-free ♥️
